Connections

St Peter’s Mission is community based yet is connected both nationally and internationally.

We are community based in that we are to be involved in our community focused on being the light of Christ in the places He sends us.  We love the place where God has put us, Meridian Mississippi, and we seek to do the work of God in the places where we work, play, study and live.

St Peter’s Mission nationally and internationally connected. We are members of the worldwide Anglican Communion  which is a Christian family of roughly 80 million believers around the globe. Our connection is not denoted by geographic boundaries, but through affiliation with and affinity toward other Anglican groups. These relationships provide a network of support and resources to strengthen our foundation of orthodox values.

Nationally we are a part of the Anglican Church in North America (www.anglicanchurch.net) whose pastoral oversight is provided by the Most Rev. Robert Duncan, Archbishop of the ACNA and Bishop of Pittsburgh.  Closer to home, we are under the pastoral guidance of the Rt Rev. Neil Lebhar, bishop of the Gulf Atlantic Diocese (http://www.gulfatlanticdiocese.org).  Still even a bit closer to home,    ChristchurchXP (http://www.christchurchxp.net/) in Montgomery, Alabama is our ministry partner.
