Scattered Throughout the Communities

Each week, our Heavenly Father feeds us with spiritual food. We are living members of the Body of Jesus Christ and heirs of His eternal kingdom. At the end of our Holy Communion Service (The Lord's Supper) every week, we ask God our Father to send us out into the world to do the work He has given us to do - to love and serve HIM as faithful witnesses of Christ our Lord.

And that is what we do.

We are involved in the communities and friendship networks where we live.  We use, to the glory of God, the gifts, talents and passions which God has given to each of one. In those circles we love and serve HIM by growing each day in the likeness of Christ and letting others see the transformation in us.

In addition to the regular routines of life such as working, grocery shopping, and banking,  some members of our community of faith are also involved in:

Class at the Meridian Community Center
Threads of Hope
Magnolia Quilting
Mustard Tree Missions Food Distribution
Chaplain Services at Rush Foundation Hospital
Gospel Sing

Regardless of where you spend most of your day, you are there for God’s purpose. That purpose is to bring the knowledge and presence of the living Lord to a world where many do not know him. So, whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.( Colossians 3:17)
