Remembering that the church exists for those not in it yet, we desire to be people of God bringing Him glory wherever we go. This verse from Matthew 5 reflect why we have a heart for mission: -
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Each week, our Heavenly Father feeds us with spiritual food. We are living members of the Body of Jesus Christ and heirs of His eternal kingdom. At the end of our Holy Communion Service (The Lord's Supper) every week, we ask God our Father to send us out into the world to do the work He has given us to do - to love and serve HIM as faithful witnesses of Christ our Lord.
